Whether it’s creating a CSI spoof or producing a video of growing things in a Petri dish, show why students should choose a career in lab sciences and you could win one of several scholarships and other prizes!
“Labs Are Vital™”, the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), and Blood Systems, Inc. are giving you a chance to put a creative twist on your career goals through the “Labs Are Vital™” Contest. Find an innovative way to encourage others to consider careers in laboratory science - illustrate why clinical lab science is cutting-edge, cool, and can really make a difference in the lives of patients and entire communities - and you could win a scholarship valued at up to $2,500!
To participate, just submit a video, advertisement, or T-shirt design in one of the following categories:
- Clinical Labs
- Public Health Labs
- Blood Banks
A total of three $2,500 scholarships, six $1,000 scholarships, and nine iPhones® will be awarded:
- First-place video winners in each of the three categories above
will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship.
- First-place advertisement and T-shirt design winners in each of the
three categories above will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
- Second-place video, advertisement and T-shirt design winners in
each of the three categories above will receive an iPhone®
The deadline to enter is March 7, 2008!
