* Two or three letters of recommendation, with two of them from a teacher or professor
* Applicants who have been out of school five years ore more may substitute a reference from a supervisor for one letter
* Resumes optional
Additional information:
* Applicant's sexuality is not a factor, but applicants should have a history of leadership in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered community and plan to be an LGBT leader in the future
* Award amount varies based on available funds
* Scholars must maintain a 3.5 GPA, be willing to speak publicly about Foundation events, provide the Foundation with transcripts, remain in contact with Foundation Trustees, and do an individual project with the LGBT community
* Applicants selected as semi-finalists will be notified within 60 days of deadline
