ScholarshipPoints.com offers scholarships to registered participants each month. Earn Scholarship Points by completing surveys, visiting websites and participating in our community.
Why do we run this program?
There are multiple reasons why we wanted to start this program. The first is that we exist to help students get to college. We help students find ways to pay for their education and fulfill their dreams. We see what students go through to get to college, and we want to give back. Secondly, we occasionally have surveys on the site and your feedback helps us understand your needs and the trends that exist in a college audience. This allows us to provide students with the widest variety of choices and options in paying for college.
Why give the money directly to the financial aid office?
We want to make sure that our scholarships go to students, not to just anyone who has internet access. By giving the money directly to the financial aid office at your school, we discourage non-students from trying to win the scholarships we give out four times per year.
What if there are two people with my name at my college/university?
Don't worry - we went to college too, and we know how often names overlap. We ask that you keep the address listed in your profile up-to-date as we will use it to help verify your identity to the financial aid office.
If you win, we will ask for the last four digits of your Social Security Number or your school's ID number so we can verify your identity with your school and make sure you receive the scholarship. We want to make sure you get the money you've won! |
